Chat Widget blocks input when closed

When the chat widget is closed, the invisible panel is blocking clicks to all elements below it.

This is because that element has an opacity of 1 and a background color of (0, 0, 0, 0). If I change the visibility of that element to hidden, it no longer blocks clicks.
